Trail description

From Hinata-Oya at the end of the road in Chichibu the old pilgrims' path climbs through forest past stone statues of the mountain's worship and up chains on the final rocks to the summit of Mount Ryokami (1,723 m), one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. It is a long, steep day of about 1,100 m of climbing.
