Mount Oe via Nabezuka

Trail description

Oeyama is a ridge of peaks where Yosano, Fukuchiyama and Miyazu meet at the base of the Tango peninsula, known for the legend of the demon Shuten-doji and for seas of cloud on autumn mornings. This route walks from the Oeyama Green Lodge up to Nabezuka, 763 m, and along the ridge over Hatogamine to Senjogatake, 832 m, the highest point of the Tango region. Nabezuka has a view all round over Wakasa Bay and the Tango peninsula, and the range is part of a quasi-national park.
