Mount Nagi

Trail description

Nagisan, 1,255 m, stands on the border of Chizu in Tottori and Nagi in Okayama, in the Hyonosen-Ushiroyama-Nagisan Quasi-National Park. This route climbs from the south to the flat summit, covered in a natural monument community of enkianthus shrubs, with a 360 degree view. The mountain is a monadnock of hard granite left by erosion. Legend says the creator gods Izanagi and Izanami descended on this peak.
