Mount Hyono from Fukusada

Trail description

Hyonosen, 1,510 m, is the highest peak of Hyogo prefecture, on the border with Tottori. This out-and-back route starts at the trailhead above Fukusada in Yabu and climbs through beech forest to the main ridge and along it to the summit, 8.6 km with about 790 m of climbing. The summit has a shelter hut and wide views over the mountains of northern Hyogo and Tottori.
