Trail description

Iyo Fuji, about 1,756 m, is a peak of the Ishizuchi range in the Ishizuchi Quasi-National Park and one of Japan's 300 famous mountains. This route climbs from the south portal of the old Kanpuzan tunnel via Kuwase Pass along the ridge to the summit. The top is covered in bamboo grass with wide views of the Seto Inland Sea to the north and Tosa Bay to the south, and of Kamegamori and Kanpuzan along the range. Rhododendrons grow on the rocks south of the summit.
