Mount Hiwada from Koma Station

Trail description

Hiwadasan, 305 m, is a small hill in Hidaka, Saitama, a popular short hike from Koma station on the Seibu line. This out-and-back route walks from the station through the village to the foot of the hill and climbs by the Otokozaka and Onnazaka paths past the Kotohira shrine to the summit, 4.0 km with about 215 m of climbing. The shrine terrace looks out over the Kanto plain.
