Kyoto Trail Higashiyama: Fushimi Inari to Keage

Trail description

The southern part of the Kyoto Trail Higashiyama course, the waymarked route Kyoto opened in 1993 along the eastern hills. From Fushimi Inari it climbs through the shrine gates to the Inari Yotsutsuji crossroads at 165 m, then follows the hills north past Tsurugi shrine and over Kiyomizuyama, 242 m, above Kiyomizu-dera, down to Awataguchi near Chion-in and Keage near Nanzenji.
