A stage of the Sentiero Italia in the upper Valsesia, from Carcoforo (1,304 m) over the Colle d'Egua (2,239 m) and past the Lago Baranca to the Rifugio Alpe Baranca (1,600 m). A mountain path day of about 9 km. Book the huts ahead in summer.
