From Ghigo di Prali in the Val Germanasca on the Via Alpina path to the Rifugio Lago Verde (2,583 m) beside its lake. A long out-and-back day of about 20 km and 1,200 m of ascent; the hut stands high, so carry warm layers and turn back if storms build.
