Trail description
From Saint-Jacques at the head of the Val d'Ayas the path climbs west through the Tournalin pastures to the Rifugio Grand Tournalin (2,550 m), a stage hut of the Alta Via 1. You come back the same way. The hut stands above 2,500 m: start early, carry warm layers and turn back if storms build.
