Trail description

A 5.7 km climb of about 910 m from the Lago di Braies up the steep Forno valley to the Rifugio Biella (Seekofelhütte) at 2,327 m below the Croda del Becco. The hut is on the Alta Via 1 and looks over the Fanes-Sennes plateau. Parking at the lake is restricted in summer, so arrive by bus.
