Trail description

A 5.5 km climb of about 910 m from Prato Piazza (Plätzwiese) to the Picco di Vallandro (Dürrenstein) at 2,839 m, a dolomite summit with a large cross and one of the widest views in the Dolomites. The path is steep and rocky near the top, but stays a walk. The road to Prato Piazza is closed to cars in high season, when a bus runs.
