Trail description

A 2.7 km walk with about 390 m of climbing from Pian del Re past Lago Fiorenza and the source of the Po to the Lago Superiore at 2,313 m, below Monviso. Lago Fiorenza is a glacial lake on the Giro di Viso, about half an hour from Pian del Re. Like the other lakes of Viso it is fed by snowmelt and mountain streams.
