Trail description

Stage 10 of the Alta Via 1, from the Rifugio Barmasse (2,157 m) above Valtournenche over high cols to the Rifugio Cunéy (2,652 m) next to the Cunéy sanctuary. It is one of the longest and most demanding stages, mostly above 2,500 m: start early, carry warm layers and book the hut.
