Trail description
The Kaiserweg follows an old trade route across the Harz from Goslar and Bad Harzburg past the Molkenhaus and the Königskrug down to Walkenried, then east by Ellrich and Nordhausen through the Goldene Aue to the Kyffhäuser hills, ending at the Kyffhäuser castle above Tilleda. Five days, with nights in Braunlage (a short way off the line), Walkenried, Nordhausen and Heringen.
