Trail description

The Harzer Klosterwanderweg links former monasteries and churches along the northern edge of the Harz: from Goslar past Kloster Wöltingerode, Ilsenburg and Drübeck to Wernigerode, by Kloster Michaelstein to Blankenburg and Thale, then over Gernrode to Quedlinburg and on to the cathedral of Halberstadt. Parts run on town streets and quiet lanes. Five days, with nights in Vienenburg, Wernigerode, Thale and Quedlinburg.
