Trail description

The Harzer Teufelsmauerstieg follows the Teufelsmauer, a long line of upright sandstone rocks on the northern edge of the Harz, from the Großvater rocks above Blankenburg past Timmenrode, Weddersleben and Neinstedt to Ballenstedt. A long day on forest and field paths with many short climbs up to the rocks; some stretches between the villages are on lanes.
