Trail description
A 0.6 km walk near Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach from the Vor Burgbach car park up the Burgbach valley to the Burgbachwasserfall, whose 26 m main step, 15 m of it in free fall, makes it one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Germany. In all the stream drops 32 m over a ledge of hard silicified sandstone lying on softer granite.
