From the village of Pralognan-la-Vanoise a steep mountain path climbs above the valley to the Refuge de la Valette at 2,590 m in the Vanoise National Park. About 10.9 km out and back with some 1,232 m of climbing. The upper part is high and exposed to the weather, so start early and check the forecast.
