Trail description

A 7.4 km climb of about 960 m from Pralognan-la-Vanoise to the Col de la Vanoise, 2,517 m, in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, near the Refuge du Col de la Vanoise. The pass links Pralognan in the Tarentaise with Termignon in the Maurienne and lies on the GR 55 and the Tour des Glaciers de la Vanoise. It sits in a wide glacial valley between the Grande Casse, 3,855 m, and the Aiguille de la Vanoise.
