Trail description
A 5.4 km walk with about 500 m of climbing from near Aspremont to the summit of the Mont Chauve d'Aspremont, 853 m, and on over the Col de la Prairie. The fort on the summit was built between 1885 and 1888 as part of the Séré de Rivières system of defences on the Italian border. It guarded the valleys of the Var and the Paillon.
