Baou de Saint-Jeannet

Trail description

A steep 2 km climb of about 400 m from the perched village of Saint-Jeannet to the top of the Baou, a flat-topped limestone tower at 801 m. The path winds round the north side of the cliffs to the summit, which gives a huge panorama from the Alps to the Cote d'Azur and the sea. A favourite of hikers and climbers behind Nice.
