Trail description
A 5.2 km climb of about 700 m from the hamlet of Les Hières above La Grave to the Lac du Goléon at 2,438 m. The lake faces the glaciers of the Meije across the Romanche valley. About a third of the route follows the small road up the Valfroide valley.
