Trail description

A 14.3 km climb of about 1,230 m from Heiligenblut up the Gößnitz valley to the Elberfelder Hütte at 2,346 m in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The valley is one of the wildest in the Glockner group, with waterfalls near the start and the Gößnitzkees glacier at its head. Allow a long day or stay the night at the hut.
