Trail description
The longer and quieter route up Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina at 3,143 m, from Sin Chai village near Sa Pa through bamboo and fir forest to the summit. Most walkers take two days and sleep at the camp at about 2,800 m. A local guide is required by Hoang Lien National Park, and the summit is shared with the cable car crowds.
