Trail description
From the trailhead parking above Waiheʻe on West Maui the trail climbs a steep concrete track and then a muddy ridge path through forest, with views into the Waiheʻe and Makamakaʻole valleys, to a picnic table at the Lanilili lookout at about 760 m. The trail is often wet and slippery, and the gate closes in the evening.
