An out and back hike from the Mount Rose Summit trailhead on Highway 431 along the Tahoe Rim Trail to Relay Peak, at 3135 m the highest point of the Tahoe Rim Trail, with views over Lake Tahoe. The trail is at high altitude and exposed to wind and storms.
