A 6.1 km climb in the Green Mountain National Forest from the Jerusalem Trailhead in Starksboro on the Jerusalem Trail to the Long Trail, then south along the ridge to the summit of Mount Ellen (4,083 ft / 1,244 m), tied with Camel's Hump as the third highest mountain in Vermont.
