Trail description
From the West Ridge trailhead in Cardigan Mountain State Park the West Ridge Trail climbs through forest and onto wide, bare granite slabs to the fire tower on the summit of Mount Cardigan (956 m), with views over central New Hampshire to the White Mountains. The open rock is exposed and slippery in rain.
