Trail description

A 4 km climb from the city of Beacon up the Casino Trail to the northern summit of Beacon Mountain and on to its 1,595 ft (486 m) southern summit, the highest point of the Hudson Highlands, where a fire lookout tower stands. The two summits rise above the Hudson River and can be seen from Newburgh across the river.
