Marys Rock

Trail description

A 2.2 km climb of about 200 m from Skyline Drive to the summit of Mary's Rock (1,071 m) in Shenandoah National Park. The peak stands just south of the park's Thornton Gap Entrance and north of the taller Pinnacle, and is the eighth highest in the park. Two trails reach the top, one from the Panorama Visitor Center along the white-blazed Appalachian Trail and a shorter one from the Meadow Spring Parking Area. The summit looks over the northern part of the park and the Page Valley.
