Trail description
A 3.9 km walk from the Dog Lake parking area in Tuolumne Meadows up the back side of Lembert Dome, a granite dome rising 800 ft (240 m) above the meadows, and on to Dog Lake. The park lists the trip to Dog Lake with the side trip to the top of the dome as a steep half-day hike and advises staying off the domes during thunderstorms.
