Lanikai Pillbox

Trail description

A short, steep climb from Lanikai on the Ka'iwa Ridge Trail to the first of the old Second World War pillboxes on the ridge, with views over Lanikai Beach and the Mokulua Islands off the windward coast of Oahu. About 1.1 km out and back with some 80 m of climbing. The trail is exposed to the sun and the dirt is slippery when wet; parking is on the residential streets of Lanikai.
