Trail description

A 1.8 km loop in Big Bend National Park from the Hot Springs parking lot past the remains of a resort, pictographs and an old homestead to the hot springs on the Rio Grande, where the 105°F (41°C) water may be used for soaking. J.O. Langford developed the springs from 1909, and they were the first major tourist attraction in the area. Beyond the springs the trail forks and loops back along the top of the bluff, with fine views. The spring floods at higher river levels.
