Emory Peak

Trail description

A 7.2 km climb of about 740 m in Big Bend National Park from the Chisos Basin up the forested Pinnacles Trail and the Emory Peak Trail to the base of the summit block of Emory Peak, at 2,385 m the highest point of the Chisos Mountains and of the park. This walk ends there: the last 25 feet (8 m) to the top are a scramble up an exposed rock face and are not part of it.
