Trail description

A rugged climb of about 4 km on the Dragons Tooth Trail and the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, from the trailhead on VA 311 past Lost Spectacles Gap and up Cove Mountain to the Dragons Tooth, a spire of jutting rock. The last part scrambles over rock to the monolith, with views over the Catawba Valley. It is one of the Virginia Triple Crown hikes.
