Trail description
A 1.6 km walk in the Chattahoochee National Forest from the DeSoto Falls campground on the DeSoto Falls Trail to the lower falls and on to the upper falls. A sign on the trail tells of a plate of armor found at the base of the falls in the 1880s, the source of the name.
