Cathedral Lake Aspen

Trail description

A steep 4.4 km climb of about 620 m from Cathedral Lake Road near Ashcroft to Cathedral Lake, about 1.7 km from the summit of Cathedral Peak south of Aspen, Colorado. Cathedral Peak is a 4,252 m summit of the Elk Mountains in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness of the White River National Forest. It stands 17.9 km south by west of the city of Aspen.
