Trail description
A 1.9 km walk from the Catawba Falls trailhead near Old Fort up the Catawba River to Catawba Falls, a series of free falls and cascades at the headwaters of the river in the Pisgah National Forest. A separate free-falling drop, Upper Catawba Falls, lies a short distance upstream.
