Trail description
A 5.8 km climb of about 550 m from the end of the Cascade River Road to Cascade Pass, 1,643 m, in North Cascades National Park. The pass is the easiest link between the Cascade River and the head of Lake Chelan and is now crossed only by a hiking trail. It sits at the tree line, with views in all directions.
