Boulder Field Hickory Run

Trail description

A 5.3 km hike in Hickory Run State Park from the trailhead on Route 534 on the Boulder Field Trail to the Hickory Run Boulder Field, a National Natural Landmark and the largest boulder field of its kind in the Appalachians, formed by ice-age frost action. Bears, deer, turkeys and snowshoe hares live along the way.
