Did the sunrise hike at Black Elk Peak in South Dakota. Was so worth the physical exhaustion.

 

Trail description

A climb to the highest point in South Dakota and the highest summit east of the Rockies. The trail winds through the granite spires and pine forest of Custer State Park to a stone fire lookout on top. The panorama over the Black Hills and the surrounding plains is magnificent.
