Trail description

A 0.7 km boardwalk loop in Beartown State Park on the eastern summit of Droop Mountain, among massive sandstone boulders, overhanging cliffs and deep, narrow crevasses laid out like the streets of a small town; their cave-like openings gave the park its name as winter dens for black bears. Ice and snow often linger in the deeper crevasses.
