Trail description

A 1.4 km climb on the Bald Mountain Fire Tower Trail to Bald Mountain, also called Rondaxe Mountain, near Old Forge in the Adirondacks. The Rondaxe Mountain Fire Tower stands on the summit, which Verplanck Colvin used as a survey point in the 1870s.
