Trail description

A 4 km climb from New York State Route 3, 8.1 miles (13 km) south-west of Saranac Lake, to Ampersand Mountain (3,352 ft / 1,022 m) in the High Peaks Wilderness. The bare rock summit has extensive views of the High Peaks to the east and the Saranac Lakes to the west.
