Trail description

A 3.3 km walk on a desert track across the northern end of the Jebel Hafeet Desert Park, the archaeological reserve between the eastern foot of Jebel Hafeet and the Oman border south of Al Ain, to a group of ruins below the slopes of the mountain. The park stretches for about nine kilometres and protects more than 500 beehive tombs from the start of the Bronze Age, about 5,000 years ago. There is no shade, so the cooler months and early mornings are best.
