Trail description
From the Natural England car park in Yarner Wood, off the B3387 between Bovey Tracey and Manaton, the nature trail loops through oak, birch and pine woodland in the East Dartmoor Woods and Heaths National Nature Reserve. The wood covers about 365 acres, is home to pied flycatchers, buzzards and wood warblers, and a copper mine worked here from 1857 to 1862.
