Waun Fach from Pengenffordd

Trail description

From the car park at Pengenffordd, bridleways pass below Castell Dinas and climb to the col of Rhiw Trumau. The path then gains the main Black Mountains ridge at Pen Trumau and follows repaired paths across the peat to the broad, rounded top of Waun Fach. At 811 metres it is the highest summit of the Black Mountains and the third highest in Britain south of Snowdonia.
