Trail description

From the car park at Bwlch y Ddeufaen, at the top of the lane from Rowen, a green track and waymarked path cross the heather to the bwlch below Tal y Fan. A short climb leads to the summit, the most northerly 2,000 ft top in Wales and an outlier of the Carneddau. In 2013 an Ordnance Survey verified GPS survey measured it at 609.98 m, confirming its mountain status.
