Trail description
The National Trust car park on Mynydd Llanwenarth, at about 300 metres, is the usual starting point for the Sugar Loaf above Abergavenny. A broad path climbs north over the open common to the rocky summit ridge and its trig point. The hill rises to 596 metres, is the southernmost summit of the Black Mountains and was given to the National Trust by the suffragette Lady Rhondda.
